This hidden gem in downtown Bixby is a good to each and everytime I visit my sister. We have ordered most of the items on the menu. They have all you can eat catfish on Thursday and it is perfection. I have had it several times and it has never had the muddy taste that so many catfish places have. Their chicken strips are lightly breaded and golden brown. Special was a Indian Taco which had a light and fluffy Indian Taco base with fresh lettuce, hamburger meat, onions, tomatoes, salsa, and the best part is the made in house pinto beans! The pinto beans are available as side, cup or bowl. I highly recommend.
Want really good prices?? Like you got inside a Time Machine and went back to the 1980's prices?? This place is for you! The prices were almost shocking! Really good food! This is a small neighborhood cafe, that is dated and not as clean as a lot of places, but gives off "back in the days vibes". Even tho it's dated and needs shuffle Ramsey to come in and make it beautiful lol, the food, staff and prices are a win. They make homemade chicken and dumplings, I had the BLT and it was yum! It's $5.39 and comes with chips. YES you read that correctly.... Super affordable. I chose to add in- house made onion rings for an additional $2.99 and they reminded me of the kind my dad use to make. Very pleased with my lunch. I will say they add a $1 fee for a thing of ranch. I didn't know that and probably wouldn't of gotten it. My friend had a hamburger and chose to opt out of the chips that can come with it and she got the fries. I tasted her burger and it was very good! BIG sodas. They also sale homemade desserts and also peanut brittle. Cute little downtown Bixby with a couple cute shops you can walk to as well.
The Chicken and Dumplings are fantastic. Definitely going back just for the soup! I really enjoyed the fried beef strips. Very tender and not to chewy. I would highly recommend these as well but have to have the cream gravy with it. The Onion rings have the perfect crisp to them. My wife enjoyed her club sandwich. We'll definitely be back.
I kept hearing about how good the burger and onion rings are so I came in to try it. I was not disappointed!!! Great burger with good flavor and the onion rings were perfect! While I didn’t have room for dessert the pies look like my grandma made them! I can’t wait to come back!
First time here and won’t be the last. Beef and vegetable soup was delicious and I got the fried chicken special. Might be some of the best fried chicken I have ever had.
I absolutely love going to Stepping Stone. I've been there now more than 5x and will continue to go back. The ladies at the register are always upbeat, very respectful and serve you with a smile. They even know my name now and say hello as I enter. Their service is always top notch and their food is good too! Their overall prices are affordable. The only thing I wish I got more of are fries. I love french fries but I say that about 95% of the places I go to. This establishment has plenty of seating. If you're in downtown Bixby it is definitely worth the time to check out. I will continue to support their business.
I dona think they need the reviews, but I had to give it. Best fries and fried chicken sandwich ever!!! Great price and service. A keeper!
